Our little propane heater didn't burn. The gas button had to be held down and when released the flame goes out. I did some research and realized it could most likely be a thermocouple, so I ordered it and installed it. Removing the old one was a little awkward as it had to be bent and threaded through the bracket. But with a little care and patience, installing the new one was easy enough. The manufacturing method is slightly different from the original, but when the thermocouple was inserted similar to the original, the installation went well. After tightening everything, I connected the propane tank hose to the heater, checked for leaks, and fired the heater. Lighted up with no problem.
