With storage prices going down every year, no one should consider 256GB as primary storage unless you are using it as secondary storage. The minimum memory I get for my main computer as main memory/system drive should start at 512GB or more. So I bought this SSD with the intention of using it as secondary storage housed in an external enclosure that I purchased separately. I love this portable storage that I can take anywhere. Installing an NVME SSD in an external enclosure will depend on what you get, but it's usually easy and will likely take around 15 minutes. Since this is portable storage intended for external use, I don't expect it to work as if it were installed in a computer. I have attached the test results for your reference. It's not the best, but it's a very good statistic for portable media storage compared to SATA or HDD portable storage.
