This is a good hand truck. It is portable and will serve most of your daily purposes. It folds quickly and does not take much space. However, it is on the heavier side, so it may be a challenge for elderly people.Assembly took about 10 minutes. There isn't much parts to put together. You will need a Philips screwdriver to screw in 8 screws. This was not included in the box. Make sure you do not overtighten the screws, they are cheap and will strip easily. The box does include two small wrenches for attaching the two larger wheels. The extension base did not work on my hand truck. No matter how hard I tried, I could not find the locking mechanism and the extension base kept going back to the closed/short position. I think this was a design defect. Here are my thoughts for improving this hand truck:1. Add red lock thread sealer on the nuts for the rear wheels. They do not include washers or lock nuts, so over time, the nut will fall off due to friction.2. Throw away their cheap thin bungle cords, they are too short and thin to be useful3. Add wd-40 or another lubricant on the four wheels, they are cheap and may rust if you roll over dirty water4. Close the handles carefully. Do not push or bent the telescopic handle, it is hollow inside the tube handle. If you accidentally bent it, it may not retract back to the closed position5. You should use stainless steel screws for the front wheels. If you strip the cheap screws, it will be difficult to upgrade or replace the front wheels. The base is very sturdy. It is solid and made of good quality plastic and should last a long time.Thank you for reading this review, I hope you found. It helpful.
