This is actually my first review on Amazon and I buy a lot. how many many. I often have to be an Amazon Buyer of the Year. Anyhow, I was very excited to try out these lights to shoot my already sexy MT09. When I first opened the box I was impressed with the quality of the light (aside from the strong marijuana smell?), I was glad I didn't even need an extension cord. The installation process was difficult, but with all LED lights, it's all about placement. I connected them before installing to make sure they all work. One of them was red and the rest were blue. It turned out that this happens when the wire is loose, except it was almost impossible to get back to its "intended color" since the wire was very sensitive and wouldn't switch back from red. I have decided not to use one. I finally installed everything and was so happy. On my first ride, a huge streak flew off. Mind you, I rubbed the area with rubbing alcohol first and even heated the tape up a bit with a heat gun. These were flat plastic surfaces that should have held up perfectly. But to end my night, the lights turn on by themselves even when the bike is off. This is supposedly a known issue if you keep reading the reviews. I woke up with a dead battery! Take care and look for the more familiar lights. I'm so pissed.
