Excellent Customer Service

UPDATE 2: The company saw the first update on sheet wear and contacted me to send me a new fitted sheet free of charge. Such excellent customer service for standing by their product even when it is way outside of a return window. UPDATE: The sheets lasted 2 1/2 years and now have thin spots in the leg area. The sheets are about $5 a month and now I have to buy another set. Not a bad price for comfy bedding that way, but I also have cotton bedding that is much older, much cheaper and still durable. I will buy bedding again but not from this company. I've been looking for breathable sheets and looked into linen and tencel sheets. I bought these because they were cheaper linen bedding and it seemed like there was a decent return policy. I thought it would be a good introduction to flax without too much risk. Linen is definitely not for everyone. Just like silk sheets aren't for everyone. Right out of the box they are a bit rough. I washed them with baking soda (natural fabric softener) before first use. It was a little weird at first, but as I got used to it, they got better. Since then they've gone through 2 more washings with baking soda and get better each time. I compare it to ripped jeans. Once you incorporate them, they will be great. Read a little about the production of linen sheets in China and Europe. It seems to require a double-width loom to make linen cloth. Most of them are currently in China because of investments in production. Wirecutter has an article on linen towels that explains this. Two dents in the leaves. I ordered light grey. It's more of a taupe than a grey. Not critical, but if you want a gray color, dark gray is better. And the fitted sheet is a bit big. I have a 12 inch mattress and there is extra room for more depth. So if you have a really deep mattress, a sheet will do.
