Works great on old copper
I broke my first tool trying to flare up 20 year old copper, it was a cheap store brand. Rigid is a good name but expensive and even if I never use this tool again it was worth the money to complete my project. Once you master the three-hand technique necessary to do this job, you won't be disappointed with the quality of the flash.
