At night it works better than a normal camera.
Bought as a replacement. A little more than expected. Didn't fit in the existing hole, my fault. Ended up using a hitch adapter for extra space. Now I have two rear cameras. Tailgate, normal, and towing kit, IR HD. Tried both what my stereo allows. Four entrances. Bottom line: Red looks better at night, it just doesn't match the tailgate lock.
