I ordered this doll for my best friend's 2 year old daughter! I ordered it because my best friend had one when we were 3 and 4 years old. From time to time she allowed me to take him home. I was very excited to see they still do it! This doll feels pretty soft and durable but doesn't scratch or anything. He still teaches the basics of zipper and button work. The shoes don't have laces but they are velcro I think. My girlfriend will love the sentimental value of this doll and her daughter will love her gift too!
