First of all, if the turntable motor in your microwave oven has failed and the carousel won't turn, this is a simple and inexpensive solution. However, be careful when ordering. If you don't see your microwave oven's model number listed, pay close attention to the voltage (there are 21V and 120V versions of some motors with the same manufacturer numbers) and shaft. The shank is either a "Plus" shape or a "D" shape. I got this for an LG microwave which didn't have an exact listing and found that the D-shaft here had to be shaved a bit to fit the underside of the turntable. I don't take a point for it because it's probably great for the models listed. I'm not sure why manufacturers can't just standardize them as they all seem to be made by the same few OEMs.
