Installed on my 2005 Expedition and all I can say is wow! The Blackhawk is a powder coated aluminum tube with silicone sleeves that look cute! After installation, I didn't notice any whistling or background noise. However, when I touch it, it gets a little louder. It is easy to install with basic knowledge of mechanics and tools. Plan on a 5/8" drill bit to add a port for the brake booster bleed line if your setup is similar to mine. I also used zip ties on the PCV line to strengthen the clamp. Spray the boots with some hairspray before fitting (old Aquanet is good) and they seal incredibly well and don't slip much if at all! The real benefit is in MPG, I've driven a few hundred miles since installing it and my MPG has gone from 13.9 to 17.0 for the average highway so far. /Urban Combined Driving The improved throttle response is also impressive!
