Review on Double Nylon Chain Pliers Bending by Amy Mcleod

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The Beadsmith Nylon Chain Pliers are of high quality and come with a pair of interchangeable sheaths

I've used the Beadsmith Nylon Double Chain Pliers a few times and now work with 26-22 gauge - Wire for Kumihimo weaving. I've found nylon sheaths to protect paint coated copper wire. A pair of pliers will help straighten the wire. The pliers came with a pair of replacement nylon sheaths as per the product description. A few previous reviewers have mentioned that they received the pliers with screws that attach to the nylon caps, which nylon caps went through, thus defeating the purpose of the caps of protecting the wire when using the pliers. The pair I received had the covers fully unscrewed and the screws were in place. As my husband and I have always said, when buying tools that you will use again and again, it is best to buy tools from well-known brands that are known for their quality. Cheaper brands often turn out to be cheap imitations that are more likely to break or not meet your needs. In addition, companies whose names are associated with quality and whose name is well known in various fields are often more likely to replace a faulty or damaged tool that comes from a company whose name you do not know or whose name is difficult to recognize. Beadsmith is one of 2-3 companies I know that jewelers and other hobbyists typically buy their smaller hand tools from. I have several beadsmith tools that I use in my jewelry shop and I find these tools to be of high quality.
