The film makes writing on my surface a pleasure. It adds just the right amount of friction. The assembly went well, but the second film sticks too well, pulls the film off the glass and allows new air bubbles to be squeezed out with difficulty. Update: I had to trade my Surface in for a new one and bought a new screen protector. First, it was a dollar cheaper, the packaging was more industrial, the second back came off easier (or I got better at the install), BUT the cutout for the mics is in the wrong place. I realized it too late and had to have surgery with scissors. It works but looks like a kindergarten project. Dissatisfied!
