It is important to remember that these are in-ear headphones.
When I first opened the box I was shocked at how tiny the pads were. They looked like earpads the size of a newborn baby. It then took me a while to realize that these are in-ear headphones that sit on top of the ear rather than wrapping around the entire outer part of the ear. So they are normal size for children. However, for my 8-year-old son, adult in-ear headphones are more comfortable than on-ear headphones. He likes adult headphones at school so we don't use them anymore. If you like in-ear headphones
