No big deal. I've cooked in it a few times and nothing bakes through the middle. One time I kept it for almost an hour and the center was raw and the edges were burnt. It also sticks if you spray it liberally with cooking spray. I've tried all sorts of options and this is just a poorly made product. It is also extremely difficult to clean all the grooves. I had to buy a special little brush for him. In general, I would not have bought it if I knew. It was for my son's birthday cake and it just wasn't good. I just had to bake him a simple round cake of different shapes that I bought.
