The router is in the basement and the WiFi connection doesn't even reach the bedrooms with a WiFi extender. This is a new router from an ISP, but it has poor wireless range. I had a line connecting the basement to the street leading to the playroom. Used a coupler in the basement and an outlet in the game room, used a switch to turn the power strip into a hotspot and hardwired it to the game console.
