The router is in the basement and the WiFi connection doesn't even reach the bedrooms with a WiFi extender. This is a new router from an ISP, but it has poor wireless range. Used a coupler in the basement and an outlet in the game room, used a switch to turn the power strip into a hotspot and hardwired it to the game console.

I have shorter Cat 5e cables bundled and can benefit from my 1Gbps internet connection. After upgrading my service from 40Mbps, I better understand the importance of good cables and connections. Initially I bought cheap long Cat 5 cables that couldn't go over 100Mbps with my 1Gbps service. Luckily I had some Cat 5e cables and connected them to these extensions to get the transfer speed I wanted.

I have a few little cats. 5 cables, none of which were long enough for my application. This connector allowed me to connect 2 cables and now it works great. Saved me from buying another longer cat. 5 cables.

I didn't know this product yet, but for the price of 1 cable I was able to make 6 of my own cables of sufficient length. Used all 6 and all worked with no problems. Of course you have to be careful where it ends up as it won't work in a cable protector.

These little things are handy on so many levels it's not even funny that not only can you use them for RJ45 jacks, you can put RJ11 in there too if you need to re-tint two different ends that already have caps. I really need to order more of these.

I ordered these connectors because I thought they would work for what I needed them for. Unfortunately this did not happen. I sent them back but not because of a product defect. I just didn't think my plan was enough

I was actually expecting them to be super light toys like plastic so I was surprised when I pulled one out and it was heavy. Super durable! I had a CAT6 that used to run from the top floor to the bottom floor and already had ends. I used one of these to extend the cable to my network switch. This is my main FIOS ISP and I'm still getting around 960Mbps which is phenomenal. to me.

Excellent quality with better than expected signal throughput. I bought several packs because you never know when you might need a fast two-way connection. I've used cheaper plastics in the past and they've been hard to come by in tight spaces. If you go too cheap, you also sacrifice bandwidth quality.
