One year review. - Kids Bikes

We bought 2 of these bikes for our 3-5 year olds on April 15th 2020. The main advantage was the price-to-weight ratio. I can't find a lightweight kids bike anywhere for around $200. Full disclosure, we've sold bikes for around $200. After a year and many miles on both the road and the crowded bike lane I have no complaints about the bikes for the money spent. Both bikes are in good condition and are still ridden 3-5 times a week. You need to make adjustments to make the bike a good fit for your riders. Pros: Light frame. No foot brake (only hand brake). The 18" wheels offer a bit more gearing for my kids who are spinning their 16" bike. holds up well. Cons: Lower quality brake paddles, stem and other components. (However, if you've worked with bikes before, it's pretty easy to get things working well for younger riders. You might consider having a bike shop adjust what you're uncomfortable with. They do it.) The Chain cover and adornment are weak. It might seem like a lot of cons, but for the money ($200 for us) it really couldn't be better.

Pros
