I tried using suction cup lights but they either fell off or were difficult to remove as they came with an adhesive pad. they were also quite large. It uses a mount very similar to Logitech's webcam mount so it just sits on top of the screen and it's quite small so it folds up and doesn't block the screen on thin-bezel displays. The mount is very heavy and the unit is battery powered, which I also like so there are no cables to control, but it's a bit heavy so your laptop will lean backwards unless you stand it up or put your hands on it or a coffee cup on it keyboard . Overall I'm very satisfied and with those aspects it has good color temperature and brightness control.
