I'm writing an honest review, I'm not getting paid or sponsored (I want to). Getting down to business, this monitor is amazing and worth every penny. After learning the specs of the PS5, I started looking at monitors pretty intensely. For background purposes, I mostly play FPS or Call of Duty, so I prefer to play on a monitor. I was disappointed to learn that there is currently no monitor capable of playing 4K games at 120Hz over an HDMI 2.1 connection. Without 2.1 HDMI you are limited to 4K/60Hz unless you choose 1080p/120. I argued for a while about a 4K monitor, but in the end decided that increasing the fps was more interesting. Also, I don't think the visual improvements would be great at arm's length. I also have a Vizio M series TV that I would like to use for Spider-Man. I've been using a BenQ 75Hz TN panel for two years without a single problem. No dead pixels or anything like that. When I launched this new monitor, I was immediately hooked. The transition from TN to IPS is happening, as everyone claims. It's day and night. The colors pop, it's much brighter. I've always been hesitant to buy an IPS monitor because of the higher response time, but now that 1ms is available, that's not a problem. As one reviewer said, you can get your cake and eat it. Until 4K monitors come out with 2.1 HDMI, or maybe when the PS5 supports 2k resolution (Xbox Series X already has that), I really think this is the best 1080p/144hz monitor out there. It looks very modern with thin bezels and a matte screen finish. Also, the stand is great! Extremely functional. Do not be shy! Buy now! Just click on it! (allusion to Dr. Disrespect)
