Shaving used to be something I really hated because of the horrible burning and redness after shaving, but now it's not. This is the first safety razor I've used and I'm happy to say I've gotten rid of my cartridge razor and will never go back. This is a smooth razor with a beautiful design and a luxurious feel. It's mild but effective. I have a very 5% burning sensation after shaving that goes away after 10 minutes. I highly recommend it for beginners.
