I have a new CX-5 and didn't want the key fob to break. So I got a carbon fiber case with a red insert. There is no padding inside the key fob, but it fits snugly and the key fob will not slide inside. I really like how the plastic even covers the metal hole on the keychain. Underside to avoid scratches. All buttons work normally in the case and may even prevent some of the accidental unlocks/openings I've heard about. I don't know how long the leather tail and ring will last, but it's not like I plan on holding on to this thing. Oh, and the Mazda logo hole was a perfect fit.
