Not Cat 8, stained binding, don't buy!
As I write this I am considering returning this item. I bought this cable because I needed to connect my computer on the opposite side of the house. When I first plugged it in everything was fine (I didn't do a speed test). I hung the cord with the included clips. It took all morning but it looked beautiful. I was happy. After dinner I turned on the computer and it wrote "no internet connection". I spent a good hour troubleshooting before it accidentally reconnected. I don't know why I suddenly decided to join. Then I do a speed test. It was no faster than my Cat 6 cable! It was comparable if not slower! Then it goes back to shutdown. I didn't do anything this time. And after 15 minutes it randomly reconnected. As of this writing it is still connected to the internet. I suspect it will go out again. I'm so sad. I want to return this item but unfortunately the 100ft cord is already hanging nicely on my walls and door frames. When I'm done with the anger I start filming all the clips. :(
