Well I got the advice from people with a lot more experience than me that this filter is a lot stronger. I've used a few and they seem very durable and well made. I have always used Fram for rough work but was persuaded into this product. I really have no way of knowing if it does everything they say, but I have to look into what others know. TO UPDATE! Buying from this site is better than anything else out there. Oil looks better after changing.
