Does not remove makeup with water alone as advertised. I even added some face wash soap to help when I rubbed my skin too hard to remove makeup, but it didn't help. The facial soap just soaked into the inner sponge and rendered the top cloth unusable. The round pad is too thick and slips in hands. Two square babes are just a glorified piece of blanket that doesn't work any other way. Since it is not exactly cheap, I was very disappointed. I'll be back. It's also advertised as an eco-friendly product, but ironically a lot of packaging is used.
