This is said to help protect against pine needles.

I like that the stitches are a bit tight because I'm surrounded by pine trees with small needles, they clog my air conditioner and it's almost impossible to get them out. Cut-out below for connection to the heat pump leaves no space for higher connections. It would be much better if this side had velcro so it would adapt to different devices. The performance side is not covered as it should be.
