"I bought this to connect my newly purchased ART TubeMPSTV3 Variable Valve Voicing Tube Mic Pre with Limiter to my 3.5mm audio jack in my van. The goal is to boost the microphone. through car speakers. The line works but picks up interference from the inverter to feed the preamp so badly it's 100% useless. "It's true it's unsuitable for my purposes, but I've got my balanced line now and it's only marginally better, leading me to conclude I misjudged this cable and the power supply is just generating too much electrical noise .Sources for my preamp So while the cable isn't working for me right now I can't fault it Changed from 1 star to 5 stars.
