2217 I bought this 4 years ago used. Since then I've only had to replace a few tubes. I started using it with 55G and now I use it with 75G. What I like most about this filter is how much space you have for the filter material. I customized my rig to 8 stages adapted to my well water which is 7.8 PH and 25 GH at the tap outlet, from bottom to top: carbon filter, ultra coarse filter, 2 cups of peat pellets, 1 liter mechanical filter, coarse pad, Water softening pad, 1 liter Substrate Pro, thin pad. The water is healthy and clear. You can buy mesh bags to separate the filter media for easy cleaning, which I do every 3 months. I just replace the carbon filter, peat pellets and water softener pad. The rest can be used indefinitely.
