This is a pretty well made mount. My first impression of the build quality was positive. There's a bit more plastic than I'd like in some places, but overall it feels very durable and I expect it to last a long time. The hand is very, very stiff to not create more vibration than necessary. My phone is big and quite heavy, so the vibration is definitely there just because the mount is only attached to one spot on the car. However, it is inherent in this type of attachment. The phone holder part on the bracket is very strong. There is no chance of your phone falling out. It requires a little more force to install and remove the phone in the holder than other holders. I'm returning my mount because it doesn't fit perfectly on my specific car, a 2003 Honda S2000. Because my seat tracks are so compact, they prevent the passenger seat from moving back and forth. I decided to use a mount made specifically for my car instead of a universal mount. In my case, the position of the mount also meant I had to turn my head a little more than I wanted. my phone when I use it for navigation. Ideally I want something as close to my line of sight as possible so I can keep my eyes on the road. This is a relatively minor complaint and, again, is inherent to the mounting style. If there's something special for your car that puts your phone in a wider field of view, it's worth considering. Anyway if you want that particular style of mount then it's well made and a good choice hence the 4 stars.
