Review on Replacement Cartridge Retainer Bathtub Plastics by David Elam

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Come on! The?! best in rough plumbing

Can we stop at nylon parts yet?! The instructions say to place the removable cap on the old faucet's stem and "twist back and forth with an adjustable wrench to loosen the cartridge." Except that the removable cover is plastic and snaps straight into place. The puller cap broke 2 times long before the cartridge was released. Why are they making this tool? Well, because the hole is too narrow for pliers to fit through. Will making a part out of aluminum kill someone? God knows I've recycled enough cans to get a FREE aluminum tool! I'm trying my best not to use profanity in this review, but I can't tell you how pissed I am about that! Why do we need a breaking kit?! Anyone who has ever decided to use plastic for this should slip on a bar of soap and break their nose! Bloody hell! That's a complete bull!
