It is solid and after 4 days of use I have no problems. For me this raised the wheel so I could open the tailgate while towing a trailer. Tip: Follow the instructions - you MUST install the outer bolts (ie the ones that connect to the wheel bolts) first. It's solid and when you install it on the jeep first, you can't put other screws.
