Good quality cable on my review.
I used to have regular mini display calble with magnetic filters that came with my ROG 42" monitor. When I used high frequency (244 Hz) refresh rate with UHD resolution while connected to mac book pro and Dell XPS regular cable failed after while and monitor was dark. This issue was solved with this high quality Silkland display port cable. This is a category stuff where you can say installed and forget about. (Never gives you any troubles. Works like a charm)

- The cable may be heavier than other gaming cables, making it less portable
