Waffle on one side and stripes on the other. This is the thinnest fleece I've ever seen. The image of the thick folded blanket they show is deceptive. When it arrives its thickness is about 1/3 of that thickness. We thought it would fluff up after washing. It's not like this. general. If you hold it up to the light you can see the pattern lines through. I was looking for a thick and luxurious fleece blanket. It's the other way around. I didn't give 1 star because I think it would be a good summer litter. I went with a 90x90 square because it seemed the right size for a hug. This duvet is NOT for cold climates! It's pretty soft, but there just isn't a lot of material inside.
