First off.I normally wear a women 9 regular. I got a wide in this shoe because I have a bunion on my right foot and I wanted to make sure this shoe was roomie for that reason. These shoes are NOT wide fitting. They are tight on the sides. I can't imagine how much worse it would have been if I got regular fit like I normally do. Second issue.these are NOT a cloth material. They are hard, stiff leather. That would not be an issue if it wasn't for the tongue of the shoes. The tongue is also hard, stiff leather. They cut into you where the top of your foot meets your ankle. There is no give. You feel a terrible pain with every step. This issue in a shoe would never had occurred to me since I've never encountered it before. Normally shoes that are made this stiff and hard do not reach that high and shoes that do, are made of softer material. The laces are made out of elastic so there is no tie. My third issue.is the advertisement said there was a memory foam insoles. Unless they use an 1/8 of an inch memory foam, there is no way these shoes have memory foam. They are completely flat, no arch, no support whatsoever. They are stiff and do not bend with your foot easily. Overall, painful, painful shoes. I do not recommend them.
