I liked the monitor until after about 4 months it started showing random garbage from the right edge until it filled the entire screen. Even when the monitor was disconnected from the computer, the same image was displayed. I think the screen has stratified and the liquid crystal liquid has settled to the bottom. This would give the monitor 1 star. However, when I called Dell Customer Support, I was immediately put through to a helpful, English-speaking technician. In fact, he stayed on the line while I brought copies of the Revain receipts and a photo of the product label with serial numbers. Being something of an old bastard with far from perfect hearing, it took several hours but the technician remained patient and friendly the entire time. A week later I received a replacement (refurbished) monitor which is still working perfectly. I rate customer service 5 stars, so average monitor experience is 3 stars. A comment on the product: The monitor comes with an HMDI cable that plugs into the miniature HMDI connector on the monitor. The monitor is factory set to use a regular HDMI connector. Therefore, the first time you use the monitor, you will be warned that there is no input. The small dots at the bottom of the monitor frame provide access to a menu that must be used to set up the monitor for a miniature HMDI connector. It took a while to figure it out
