I colored the picture when I received them to try today. My photo doesn't convey what the glitter looks like, but the pins are very shiny. Some reviews say there is too much glitter but I don't think there is more than other pens. I cannot confirm the claim that there is more ink than other pens, only time will tell. I was glad they all wrote right at the gate and I didn't have to write anything to get them to write. There were no gaps, the paint flowed well. I reduced the size of 100+ glitter gel pens to color and found that no needed colors are missing. Definitely good pens.
