In short, I'm an audiophile. I bought this unit to run my backyard and basement pool area in zone 3. I was thrilled when I found and ordered the device for the first time. However, when it arrived and I pocketed it, I was deeply disappointed! I'm a technical specialist. I can easily understand things in most cases. However, this unit was a bit tricky. the instructions did not help. I worked with it a bit and it worked. Bluetooth pairing was the easiest - it works flawlessly! However, it looks like the unit I received (sold as used) blew channels A and F. I used a known good test speaker from another system I have. Even after adjusting the treble and bass, the sound was still VERY flat. There was power, but cutting off was obvious and awkward! Even after turning it down a bit and turning on bluetooth, I got better sound from a lower powered amp! I ended up plugging it where it needed to be and hooking up the Q65 HTD outdoor speakers for my garden. The bass hit, but again the sound was very flat and tin can-like, not to mention burned channels (I needed all 6 for my pool room and outdoors). I think I left it on for about 30 minutes - playing a variety of music. Glass Animals, Classics, Doors, Floyd, Various EDM and Rock. not impressed at all! Again, the power was there, but it distorted heavily at higher volumes where the power was needed! NOT RECOMMENDED! waste of time and energy. Other reviews are correct when suggesting other units. will never entertain Paile again.
