Nice soft texture.
I ordered 3 X-Soft but received a mix of 3 which was a blessing in disguise. Although I really like the texture, X-soft and Soft had a graphite-like sheen. Too bad that the shine could not be reproduced in the photo. But I love using Med for lighter shades. Charcoal pencils can be sharpened and used for fine lines.
