I sent this back when I first received it because there was an unpolished (not black in my case, I chose black) on the underside of the handle portion. There was stain and I thought it was because it hadn't been fully polished. So I sent it back thinking it would be the right thing. But I got the second one. was the same so I figured maybe it was done on purpose where it sits on the counter. Anyway, it looks great with the rest of my accessories with black accents and is sturdy. At my own request, I tinted a small "bald spot" with a black felt-tip pen.
