The best bang for your buck!

angry My wife has an old Asus Essentio CM6730-08 from Best Buy that we bought in 2012. Spring. Today I put in 1660 OC and oh. my. God. After uninstalling and reinstalling GeForce Experience most games are set to High or Highest and we get a locked 1080p 60fps resolution! On i7-3770 (not K). Suddenly we're not in such a hurry to update their computer. We definitely plan to do this at some point and use this map in a new build. For $220, I don't think you can go wrong with this card! UPDATE: September 2019 and this map has a new home! Ryzen 5 1600. Destiny 2 on low settings we get between 100 and 144 fps depending on the range. This card is AMAZING at 60 FPS and just GOOD at 144 FPS. I'm pushing 500+ MHz for memory and 100MHz for GPU clock in MSI AfterBurner. It delivers a sustained 2050MHz boost at 50 degrees with 100 percent fans. My wife doesn't hear the GPU fans. Now that she has a 144hz monitor, I definitely plan on finding a 1070ti or higher to get the most out of a 144hz monitor. This GPU won't do that. My 1070ti STRIX (overclocked at 185 GPU clock and 500 memory) delivers 144 fps MOST of the time. Only certain areas and actions cause crashes below 144. I can't speak for the 1660 ti version, so I'd go for 1070 ti or higher if you need more than 90 fps.
