Review on ๐ŸŽง Beebang USB Headset: Professional Noise Canceling Mic for Office Calls, Skype, and Business Meetings by Ashwin Patel

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Only 5-6 months

***UPDATE*** After 5-6 months of use, my headset microphone does not remain permanently in the off state (recognizable by the red light). I've tried pretty much everything to unmute to no avail. Updated the rating from 5 stars to 2 stars as I've been using it for 5-6 months and it was a cheap headset so in a way you get what you pay for. Only disappointed, so they failed. Now in the home office, I needed to stock up on some of the things that would normally be provided at the office, and one thing that came naturally to me was a basic headset. I tried using standard headphones, but I think the headphone jack on my work laptop is wonky, so I only had issues with the physical 3.5mm jack. Then I tried a Bluetooth headset that I bought on the best day for about $20 and always had trouble turning it off or the audio came out all garbled. I finally found this, a USB headset. The quality is excellent, I can hear people crystal clear and no one has complained that they can't hear me, the individual ear cups are also very comfortable. The mute button and volume buttons work like a charm, which is also a bonus. The only thing I can say is that the price was higher than I expected, but it was the same for almost all USB headsets. I just wanted a simple one that works without looking like I'm playing World of Warcraft at a LAN party, and it was a cheaper one that would do all of those things. A very happy customer.
