Simple, light design! Draws power from a USB port on your computer or any USB charger, and uses the standard headphone jack found on any computer and MP3 player (well, except iPhones, which don't have them). The sound is great and the volume is just great to be heard in a bedroom or similar sized room. It won't fill the room with booming sound, but that's not the goal. It amplifies the audio from any laptop so it's much more audible and of better quality, which is exactly what I needed. Plus, using it with my MP3 player is great too!
