Works great, USB part can interfere with FM radio

This splitter works great as I like reading voltage and the fact that it has 2 built in USB sockets in addition to 3 12v sockets is VERY good liked. The USB part charges the phone well but unfortunately I've found it to interfere with my radio when using the built in USB ports. It doesn't create electronic noise on the radio, but it does appear to create interference that reduces my reception range. I even tested it. I've tuned into a station that has good reception, but it's about 45 minutes away. I then connect my phone to this splitter's built-in USB ports. The radio goes into semi-static mode like I'm out of range. Turn off the phone, radio reception will return to normal. Whether I'm sitting still or driving, the effect is the same. Rinse and repeat with other stations equidistant. Yes it was just the built in USB ports too as I tested this with a pair of USB cigarette lighter chargers plugged into the 12v sockets on this splitter and no interference. happened while charging my phone with it. So yes, I got what I paid for. The device and all its accessories will function normally, but your mileage may vary due to radio interference when using the included built-in USB ports. If you're just using Bluetooth and streaming anyway, then don't worry too much about this issue. You get what you pay for, I would say it's worth the money I paid. It's functional.
