Review on Hi Lift Jack GB 525 Gear Pack by Suhas Payton

It's well built and very secure, fits perfectly, no gaps anywhere. I use the green ratchet strap you see in the photo but not at all necessary to provide a better closure or anything for a number of reasons: (1.) This box is not advertised as waterproof but I have cleaned the edges and a applied a thin coat of Molykote (hydrophobic sealer) and used a strap for extra even pressure and so far it hasn't even leaked and (2) it's just an extra strap to have on hand when I need one. Visibility is a bit so I could end up moving the jack and everything to the tailgate. One of the benefits of mounting the hood is that you can spread the weight of the jack off the supports a bit by using just the right amount of felt to raise the box by about 6 mm.
