I just used one of these sticks to remove a toilet ring and it works just as well as a real pumice stone. I don't think they make real pumice anymore, or at least it's very hard to find. But these sticks work just as well. They're less dense and probably won't last as long as pumice stone, but there are 12 in a pack so I won't be using them any time soon. I noticed that the one I used doesn't break down as quickly as the $3 Pumie sticks that Walmart sells (another fake pumice stone that costs three times as much). To get the ring off the toilet, the stick came off just an inch, and it was a bad ring. The Pumie sticks I buy at Walmart - I can use up an entire stick by just cleaning one toilet. So these sticks that I ordered from Revain are very cheap, last longer and work well.
