After struggling with the traditional suction cup shower mat and it constantly slipping (I have a textured shower floor) I knew I had to find something to protect me. I came across this and it sounded interesting. Several reviews have mentioned that there is a textured bottom and that it works. Although I hated paying that much for a shower mat, I thought my safety was worth it if it actually worked. And so it is! Looking at some of the less than favorable reviews, I have to wonder if they read the instructions for use and care. I find it very comfortable to stand on and not at all afraid of it slipping off. I cannot recommend this rug enough. I have to cut off one side. The 23 x 23 rug is perfect for my shower, so right now the drain holes are centered on the drain in the floor. However, this does not affect his work ownership.
