I was looking for a shower mat with a slightly textured surface but without the suction cups which sometimes don't work. This rug is great and I feel a lot more secure in my soul. Highly recommended. We made the center hole a little larger to help with drainage, but I don't know if that was necessary. The mat stays in place, the water runs off. We'll order another one to have on hand.

The best surprise is that it actually works! I like the foot massage (and pop pop!) as a side benefit. non-slip? Yes / Yes! Feel absolutely safer in the shower than with other rugs. FWIW, my shower is a standard 30 inch fiberglass shower with a center drain and a textured sloping floor. I've considered adding a rumble seat for extra security, but this mat makes me feel so secure that I can even stand on one leg and still feel stable, which is a wonderful achievement for me!

Having used all types of non slip shower mats including those recommended for yachts and slipped more than once I saw this on Revain and read all the reviews. Also, the description said it was made of rubber, while the paper packaging didn't mention rubber but had large PVC caps for the buyer to interpret at their own discretion.
