Wrong item sent. Instead of the 4-wire TRS (TRRS) pair pictured and described, I received a 3-wire TRS (tip, ring, socket) pair. The 4th ring conductor is required for my earbud volume/pause/play buttons to work with my MacBook Air. return for replacement. Otherwise it is a quality item. They fit very well into the 3.5 mm jack socket. I hope the substitutions are correct.
