I think they are cute and it's good that they come with 3 pairs (so two extra ankle boots). But that's all I like. I was wearing one of the ankle boots for the second time when the Velcro came off the sock. Her shoes keep falling off her hind legs, even with the velcro straps tight. The velcro stays in place but the rear ones still fall off. The front stays in place. The grippy pad never stays on the sole of the foot, it always slides up so doesn't help with traction. I still use them because I live in Arizona. So if I have to take her outside she needs protection, especially since her legs are spread so her pads offer no protection. Despite my issues with booties, she seems to like them. She never tries to take them off and ignores them while sleeping. We try not to take them off while getting up and moving around the house because it's easier for my old lady not to suffer from legs. ** Add on edit. We stopped using them because one of them rolled around on her leg while she was sleeping. When her husband noticed and removed it, her leg was severely swollen. It took 3 days for everything to normalize. I recommend checking your feet regularly to make sure this isn't happening to your pup, it can be very dangerous.
