Review on 🪒 ComfortGlide Women's Razors, Gillette Venus, 1 Razor + 4 Blade Refills, with White Tea Scented Gel Bars by Amanda Dunn

Avoid this razor! No matter how careful you are, this razor will cut you. I've been shaving my legs for over 30 years and I've never cut my legs as badly as I did with the Venus ComfortGlide razor. This is my first (and last) experience with a Venus razor. I only bought this because I needed the handle after my favorite razor changed the interchangeable heads to fit the Venus handle. I was impatient and thought I could get this from Revain quickly and use it for a while before ordering my regular replacement blades. What a big, big mistake. I should have just used my old dull razor while waiting for the slower delivery of a different handle and blades. Unfortunately, I wrongly thought that Venus would be a quality product considering how long it's been around. The Venus blade design is terrible. As if they wanted you to cut yourself. I've attached a picture showing the Venus ComfortGlide next to the razor I usually use. The Venus blades are further apart and have a greater angle of inclination, making them easier to follow the skin. Due to the large angle of the blades, the razor is uncomfortable and does not slip. Rather, you can feel the blades gliding across your skin, so you know you're about to cut yourself. Because of this I was even more careful and 95% of the time I still get cut. even in areas that tend to be less prone to cuts. You can see that the blades of a shop razor are closer together and have a significantly less rake angle. I will NEVER cut myself with a razor unless I'm incredibly reckless. In addition to this (actual) injury, Venus even shaves badly. The shave never feels tight and hairs are left out, even if you focus specifically and carefully on the area. "Soap" pads are useless; They don't provide a smoother shave and seem to get in the way more than anything else. If other Venus models have anything like this blade design I will be amazed at how this product continues to sell. I would shave more safely with single-ended white and yellow Bic razors.
