Worked great until it started to get warm. Cool, lots of energy, lots of heat, that's fine. I figured I'd hit the power button as I only need it every now and then for the speakerphone in my car. Out, great. I went to work on the car for 20 minutes and then realized my car smelled like burnt electronics. Not good. The power was off, but it was still on and HOT. A 20w 4 8 ohm amp should have no problem with a single 20w 8 ohm speaker. nope And I even had a 3A fuse built in and it didn't blow. So it's a dangerous little unit. I also installed it with a neoprene pad. It melted it. Otherwise it would have disappeared into my dashboard. BUYER BEWARE. It's only 16 watts, not 20 watts. Incorrect labeling, inferior components and risk of fire. The IC on this amp is soldered due to overheating and I'm pretty sure that's the source of the heat. It was an audio amp, but the LA4445 power amp (which is only rated at 5.5W x 2) is probably not too happy about it with an audio module half-plugged in. DO NOT BUY
